Writing

Stories about reinvention, ordinary lives, strange turns and moments that change everything.

Novels, short stories and other adventures in words.

She Changed Her Name

My completed novel about a change of identity and starting over when life no longer fits.

Flash Flash

A short story about loneliness, connection and unexpected change. From my collection of short stories.

Wednesdays

A short story about family routine and what can be hidden inside an ordinary life. Also from the collection above.

Bentleg Bad-Smeller of Barnacle Bay

An illustrated (by me) children’s story full of humour, imagination and gloriously bad smells.
